Here’s why…

In 2003, a Princeton psychologist, Alexander Todorov tested a theory:

the reason most people vote for a particular candidate has more to do with first impressions than political beliefs.

He showed two dueling candidates’ headshots to people, and asked participants to choose the most trustworthy person.

The 1000 test subjects didn’t know that the election had already taken place.

The participants’ response, based solely on the photos, predicted the actual election results 66% to 73% of the time!
